Description
IA Check’s Process Control window graphically displays the status of check batches in progress. All stages of the application – Scanning, Edit/Verifying, Batch Balancing, and Retrieving – are easily initiated and monitored from the main Process Control window. The TS200 or TS400 Check Scanner (below) will scan the front and back of checks, and capture the MICR code line from encoded items, in a single pass. Optional Backside Inkjet Endorser. Other Check Scanners available include; AIM/SEAC, Panini and MagTek.
Scanned Images are output to TIFF format, in 100 or 200 dpi, black & white or gray scale (JPEG). The captured images and MICR information are then stored electronically for later indexing and retrieval. IA Check’s Edit/Verify window allows the user to visually verify the image quality and MICR information of the scanned checks and to key enter additional information. Image Zone magnification allows the user to quickly enlarge the image area to verify captured information. IA Check’s archived information Index Fields are set by the user, and data is instantly retrievable using any or all fields. The Retrieval Criteria window (illustrated below) allows for both simple and complex searches. Retrieved images may be printed or faxed with details of all relevant field information. IA Check’s Batch Balancing window will automatically check for total item counts and total amounts, and allows searches for missing or incorrect items. IA Check’s WEB Portal (licensed separately, PE only) monitors the image archives and as image subscriber’s documents are saved, a copy is made available to a secure Intranet/Internet connection for immediate access to the images. IA Check’ s interface to CD Archive and Retrieval (licensed separately, PE only) allows easy creation of CDs by dragging and dropping files. CD archiving allows compact storage and quick retrieval of all data captured (TIFF or JPEG and an index database with search parameters). One 640 MB CD-ROM can hold approximately 25,000 Check images (front and back TIFF format). Data stored on CD-ROM is non-erasable and non-alterable; Check images from CDs can be printed or faxed, 1, 3 or 10-up on a single page. Reports:
